My musical ear has always travelled wide and deep. It does not naturally fit within a single genre, sound, or period, and I do not want to force that part of my listening into a fixed category. That is why NuDirections is returning.
NuDirections gives me the freedom to follow where my musical ear leads and to share the music I discover along the way.
Sometimes that journey may take me towards familiar sounds, vintage recordings, contemporary music or something driven by rhythm and atmosphere. At other times, the music may be more unexpected, adventurous or challenging.
NuDirections will not be restricted by genre. It will be shaped by curiosity and by whatever has caught my ear at that particular moment.
You may not always know where it is heading — and neither will I.
